For almost 15 years Marko Milicevic (Gramophonedzie) has been working as a Dj, 30 years old, Belgrade native, started his career as a teenager. In the year 2000 Marko was honoured to be chosen by RedBull Music Academy in Ireland as their student and participant and that was one of the main steps for his future work as a producer. At RBMA he got introduced to music production which leads to his later success in that field. Beside dj-ing he finished studies of Sound Design @ Belgrade University. Also he made music for many video commercials, shows, films and produced projects of some major HipHop bands in Serbia. He also made music (theme) for Big Brother show for Balkan countries.
His passion for funky music, live instruments and intensive vocals resulted by his alias “Gramophonedzie” for whom he is making music for last 4 years. He’s been releasing tracks for Gotta Keep Faith Records, Yakuza Records, Guesthouse, DiskoZoo Records, Shak Digital, Maracuja, DVR and many numerous remixes he did for large variety of labels. His biggest success is track called “Why Don’t You” where he sampled an old swing track, that brought Gramophonedzie to the lights of the world global house scene and got him signed with Virgin/Positiva records.
As producer he has very diverse style in making music that varies from jackin house to almost minimal beats.
In his long dj career he played numerous parties and big dance events where he shared decks with dj’s like Bob Sinclar, Derrick Carter, Junior Jack, David Morales, Basement Jaxx, Tom Novy, Axwell, Roger Sanchez just to name a few…
